ABOUT
The Carolina Competitive Dance Club (CCDC) was founded in 2023 at the University of South Carolina with the mission of providing dancers of all backgrounds and experience levels the opportunity to perform and compete at the collegiate level.
As the only club on campus to offer tap, CCDC fosters a welcoming environment where dancers can continue their passion, refine their skills, and connect with a supportive community.
Whether on the Performance Team, which showcases routines at semester-end events, or the Competitive Team, which competes at local and regional dance competitions, members have the chance to express themselves through movement while building friendships that last beyond the dance floor.
CCDC is more than just a dance club—it’s a family dedicated to creativity, teamwork, and excellence.
